Answers

1. Answer :

4√(x4) = x

2. Answer :

5√(x10) = 5√[(x2)5]

= x2

3. Answer :

3√(x4) = 3√(x3x)

3√(x3) ⋅ √x

3√(x3⋅ 3√x

= x(3√x)

4. Answer :

4√(81x8y4) = 4√81 ⋅ 4√x⋅ 4√y4

4√(34⋅ 4√(x2)⋅ 4√y4

= 3x⋅ |y|

= 3x2y

5. Answer :

√32 + √200 = √(16 ⋅ 2) + √(100 ⋅ 2)

= √16 ⋅ √2 + √100 ⋅ √2

= 4√2 + 10√2

= (4 + 10)√2

= 14√2

6. Answer :

√(25b) - √(b3) = √25√b - √(b⋅ b)

= √25√b - √(b2)√b

= √25√b - √(b2)√b

= 5√b - b√b

= (5 - b)√b
