Multiply 2 and 4.

= 9 - 8/(-8)

= a3 - [(b2 + c)/a) + (ab + c)

Substitute a = 4, b = -3 and c = 7.

= 43 - [((-3)2 + 7)/4) + (4(-3) + 7)

Evaluate 43, (-3)2 and 4(-3).

= 64 - [(9 + 7)/4)] + (-12 + 7)

Evaluate expression inside grouping symbols.

= 64 - [16/4] + (-5)

Divide 16 by 4.

= 64 - 4 + (-5)

= 64 - 4 - 5

= 60 - 5

= 55
