## Simplifying Radicals Expressions Questions 8

In this page simplifying radicals expressions questions 8 we are going to see solution of first question in the worksheet simplifying radicals expressions.

Question 8

Simplify the following radical expression

√54 - √2500 - √24

Solution

= √54 - √2500 - √24

First we have to split the given numbers inside the radical as much as possible.

=  √(2 x 3 x 3 x 3) - √(5 x 5 x 5 x 5 x 2 x 2) -

√(3 x 2 x 2 x 2)

=  3 √(3 x 2) - (5 x 5 x 2) - (2 x 2) √(2 x 3)

=  3 √6 - 50 - 4 √6

=  (3 - 4) √6 - 50

=  -√6 - 50

 Question 1 Simplify the following radical expression √27 + √75 + √108 - √48 Question 2 Simplify the following radical expression 7√30 + 2√75 + 5√50 Solution Question 3 Simplify the following radical expression √27 + √105 + √108 + √45 Solution Question 4 Simplify the following radical expression √45 + 3√20 + √80 - 4√40 Solution Question 5 Simplify the following radical expression 3√5 + 2√95 + 3√117 - √78 Solution Question 6 Simplify the following radical expression 3 √32 - 2√8 + √50 Solution Question 7 Simplify the following radical expression 2 √12 - 3√27 - √243 Solution Question 9 Simplify the following radical expression √45 - √25 - √80 Solution Question 10 Simplify the following radical expression 5√95 - 2√50 - 3√180 Solution

Quote on Mathematics

“Mathematics, without this we can do nothing in our life. Each and everything around us is math.

Math is not only solving problems and finding solutions and it is also doing many things in our day to day life.  They are:

It subtracts sadness and adds happiness in our life.

It divides sorrow and multiplies forgiveness and love.

Some people would not be able accept that the subject Math is easy to understand. That is because; they are unable to realize how the life is complicated. The problems in the subject Math are easier to solve than the problems in our real life. When we people are able to solve all the problems in the complicated life, why can we not solve the simple math problems?

Many people think that the subject math is always complicated and it exists to make things from simple to complicate. But the real existence of the subject math is to make things from complicate to simple.”
