This can be determined by the number of “significant figures”, in the measurement.

7.8 meters has 2 significant figures

8 meters has 1 significant figure

7.76 meters has 3 significant figures

2. Answer :

All the digits in 6.7845 are non-zero digits.

6.7845 has 5 significant figures

2.56 - 1.235 = 1.325
