**Perimeter of the sector = L + 2r**

L - length of sector

r - radius

**Question 1 :**

**Solution :**

In this problem we need to find the perimeter of the sector.For that we can use the formula (L+2r). But here we don't have L,to find that let us use the formula

Length of arc = (θ/360) x 2Πr

Here θ = 60° and r = 42 cm

= (60/360) x 2 x (22/7) x 42

= 1/6 x 2 x 22 x 6

= 2 x 22

So L = 44 cm

**Perimeter of the sector = L + 2r**

** **= 44 + 2 (42)

** **= 44 + 84

** **= 128 cm

**Therefore perimeter of sector = 128 cm**
