Number of chocolate pieces can be kept in one wooden box = 4
Total number of chocolates = 32
Required number of boxes = 32/4
= 8 boxes
Question 2 :
Apple juice costs $3.29 a gallon. What is the cost in dollars to fill a can which holds 33 gallons?
(A) 100.21 (B) 102.54 (C) 108.57

Cost of one gallon = $3.29
Cost of 33 gallons = 33(3.29)
= $108.57
Question 3 :
John purchased 12 cotton shirts for $144. How much did each shirt cost in dollars ?

(A) 14 (B) 15 (C) 16
Solution :
Let x be the cost of goldfish
Then, 2x be the cost of rabbit.
x + 2x = 24
3x = 24
x = 24/3
x = 8
2x = 2(8) = 16
Hence the cost of rabbit is $16.
Question 7 :
The reduced fraction of 0.82 is
(A) 26/57 (B) 15/18 (C) 41/50
Solution :
0.82 = 82/100
= 41/50
Hence the reduced form is 41/50.

Solution :
Length of the garden = 30 feet
Width of the garden = 40 feet
Length along with wide = 30 + 3 + 3 = 36 feet
Width along with wide = 40 + 3 + 3 = 46 feet
perimeter of the side walk = 2(36 + 46)
= 2(82)
= 164 feet
