We know the derivative of sinx, which is cosx.

(sinx)' = cosx

We can find the derivative of √sinx using chain rule.

If y = √sinx, find ᵈʸ⁄d.

Let t = sinx.

Then, we have

y = t

By chain rule,

Substitute t = sinx.
