half an hour = 30 minutes

let us change minutes into seconds. For that we have to multiply 30 by 60. Because 60 seconds = 1 minute.

30 **x** 60 = 1800 seconds.

Volume of water discharged in

half an hour = Area of cross section **x** time** x** speed

= Π r² **x** 5 **x** 1800

= (22/7) (7)² **x** 5 **x** 1800

= (22/7)** x** (7) ** x** (7)

= 22** x** 7 **x** 5 **x** 1800

= 1386000 cubic cm

But here we have to find volume of water discharged in liters. For that we have to use the following conversion that is

1000 cm³ = 1 liter

= 1386000/1000

= 1386 liter
