Graph Paper
Graph paper is a sheet which plays vital role in math and physics.We can use this paper and solve many problems in math particularly in the topic of algebra.In some topics of mathematics,we may have to do many steps to find solution for a particular problem. If we use a graph sheet, we can easily arrive the solution instead of doing many steps.
Uses of graph paper
In some problems of algebra on mathematics, we may have to spend much time and do much workings to get solution even for a simple problem.And also we may need to make some mistakes while doing calculations. But if we use a graph sheet in the situation, we can easily get solution.
Apart from the above purposes in mathematics and physics,graphpaper play a vital role in economics and business. In a business, a company can easily find its growth and profitability by using graphs.
Some times, a graph will link math with business.
let us consider the equation of the line which in the slope intercept form..
y = mx + b
here "m" is the slope and "b" is the y intercept
When the value of "m" is positive the line will be raising line from left side to right side of the graph. If "m" is negative, then the line is falling line from left side to right side of the graph.
Example
let us consider the equation y = 7x + 5
here, let "y" represent the growth of a company. If we graph this equation, we would get a straight line that would be raising line from left to right side of the graph.So it clearly says, the growth of the company is increasing.
let us consider the equation of the line y = 3x + 6
here, let "y" represent the growth of a company. If we graph this equation, we will get straight line that would be falling line from left to right side of the graph.So clearly, the growth of that particular company is decreasing.So the company must take steps to stop the decrement of growth.
In this way math is connected to business. Here graph sheet play a major role to connect both. If you need more help on graph and system of linear equations, please click the below link.
