## About "Divisibility By 4 questions"

Divisibility by 4 questions :

Here we are going to see some practice questions on divisibility by 4.

(1) Test whether 328 is divisible by 4 ?

(2)  Which of the following number should be added to 111 to make this number divisible by 4 ?

Options :

(A)  2         (B)    1          (C)    0

(3)  Are all numbers which are divisible by 2 divided by 4 ?

(4) Which of the following number is not divisible by 4.

Options :

(A) 108     (B) 112     (C) 103

## How to check whether the given number is divisible by 4 or not ?

If the last two digits of the given number are zeroes or the last 2 digits are divisible by 4.Then we can say the given number is divisible by 4

Question 1 :

Test whether 328 is divisible by 4 ?

Solution :

To check whether 328 is divisible by 4 or not, we have to check whether the last two digits

The last two digits that is 28 is divisible by 4. Hence 328 is divisible by 4.

Question 2 :

Which of the following number should be added to 111 to make this number divisible by 4 ?

Options :

(A)  2         (B)    1          (C)    0

Solution :

Option A :

Let us add the number which is in option A, to check whether it is divisible by 4 or not.

111 + 2  =  113 (13 is not divisible by 4)

Option B :

Let us add the number which is in option B, to check whether it is divisible by 4 or not.

111 + 1  =  112 (12 is divisible by 4)

Option C :

Let us add the number which is in option C, to check whether it is divisible by 4 or not.

111 + 0  =  111 (11 is not divisible by 4)

Hence, 1 should be added to 111 to make this number divisible by 4.

Question 3 :

Are all numbers which are divisible by 2 divided by 4 ?

Solution :

All even numbers are divisible by 2, but some of the even number is not the multiples of 4. Hence we may take the decision that all numbers which are divisible by 2 not divisible by 4. But its vice versa is possible.

Question 4 :

Which of the following number is not divisible by 4.

Options :

(A) 108     (B) 112     (C) 103

Solution :

Option C :

103 the last two digits 03 is not divisible by 4. Hence 103 is not divisible by 4.
